Badgers in the Allan Cup
Congratulations to Matt MacLeod ‘18 for winning the Allan Cup as captain of the Wentworth Gryphins!
The Allan Cup is the trophy awarded to the national senior amateur men’s ice hockey champions of Canada. The trophy was donated in 1908 by Sir H. Montagu Allan as a trophy for amateur teams, to replace the Stanley Cup, whose tournament had become a professional competition.
I had the special opportunity to coach in the Allan Cup this year for the Stoney Creek Tigers. It was a fun hockey adventure and it was made all the more special to coach a pair of former Badgers: Chris Knighton ‘06 and Jordan Gignac ‘15.
Save the Date - Golf Tournament
Please save the date: Thursday, August 28th for our annual golf tournament at Thundering Waters in Niagara Falls.
It’s always such a great day to celebrate Brock Hockey with alumni, friends and family spanning 6 decades from the Generals to the Badgers.
